Awesome stuff!
I would add “pain killers” as a necessary tool.
For those headaches you get here and there with clients 😂
Lmao!!!! That’s gold!
I WILL NEVER BUY ADOBE, fudge them. If you want a good quality digital art program that is one time payment and doesnt feel like a bloody highway robbery (i’m talking to you adobe!!!) then buy Clipstudio Paint, you can do a monthly/annual sub for it if you want their cloud servers (also available on android and ios) which is useful if you wanna draw on the go with an android/apple phone and continue on your laptop in the cafe or on your pc at home. or you can just pay once to get a lifetime program, its freaking amazing. i use Clipstudio Paint EX along with Procreate (Ipad pro) for all of my digital art needs, i dont need anything else, especially nothing from adobe.
Sir can I get you contact please
I am personally very disenchanted with adobe products. I only pay for it because it’s the “industry standard.” There are so many open source options and pay once alternatives (like the affinity suite) that are very competitive if not just as good imo. On another note, I recommend buying the ssd and external enclosure separately. You’ll save money and you can easily swap out drives or enclosures if anything is ever damaged. A NAS would be another good addition for long term storage and backups.
As a soon to be multimedia arts student I don’t have any of these…
So the 16 GB MBA might be my main tool for my income, basically?
Good Mouse!!!!!
Not true you don’t have to have fancy tools but it helps
Pertinent info, just what I was looking for! perhaps consider including each note on the left of the screen as you discuss it so we can take notes as we listen. Also at the end, consider recapping your points with a single view of numbers/words as you bow out.
1. Tablet & pen
2. Adobe
3. Computer
4. External solid state drive …
bla bla you get the idea
Just a thought from a new follower
Peace ☦️

Hai why don’t you make a new video on this now ? I want to see how updated you are what changed abd what didn’t abd what should and what shouldn’t.
Bro i spect to see some real gadgets no shitty ass wacom or ssd That everyone knows That exist
Lol, did you see my newest vid, this one is over a year old
Are there any good tools for vector graphic designers
Great video I respect your joy of having those gadgets and keep it up.
However – “If you want to be great graphic designer”, “tools that you need”, “tools […] are critical for any graphic designer” – no you don’t need any of those. They are gadgets, for people that work in specific designing jobs. Good chair and standup desks are great for you back and comfort but are not need haha.
Tablets, Phones with drawing apps or IPads are also great.. if you need them in your work, like, if you often present your sketches or if you often on a go to quick explain or to show work/ideas. Same with powerbanks.
Adobe’s not needed at all, and to say more, updates, issues, lack of responses from Adobe’s help desk when some features are not working for years, portfolio which will dissapear when you stop paying, problem with fonts etc. all that really not so critical to be great designer. Specialy that Adobe’s has a problem with using more power from graphic cards. The most important is good CPU and RAM, that’s why Macs are so good in desiging, because they are created with really good CPUs and they are great for rendering. But you know how and what to buy for a PC, it will be as good and way cheaper.
SSD’s are great to do backups for you projects, specialy if you have a lot of them, it’s always better to have your work in more that one device, just in case or if you want to archive them. SSD is always a good decision :D
Suggest me a GPU for i9-12900
I am a beginner and want to know if only iPad 5 pro can work for me or not ?
I wonder how long it takes to become a designer from 0 to Self sustainable
